It is a reminder that the tools sitting in our phones, laptops, and booking apps are never morally neutral, and that the people building them can shape how safe or unsafe our digital lives become. We already know that queer travelers depend on secure communication, private planning, and the ability to move through the world without being exposed. A case like this raises a brutal question: if AI systems can be used to create abuse at this scale, who is protecting the people most at risk?
